Arduino Uno

For the 2023-24 Ormskirk Code Club sessions we will be using an Arduino with our your members. This controller enables us to:

  1. Build electronic circuits
  2. Wire electronic circuits to the Arduino
  3. Code applications that are uploaded to the controller to control the circuit

These circuits can be anything from a single light-emitting diode (LED) that can switched on and off at different rates, through more complex designs that can gather environmental data (such as temperature) and warn you when the temperature drops below a certain level, to controlling motors in robotic applications.

The Arduino is included in the kit we ask parents to purchase for their children.

The Arduino has been around for quite a while now and is well established ion both education and industry. Skills developed at the Ormskirk Code Club can form the basis of further studies and maybe even a lucrative career in electronics and/or coding.
