Our aim is to give our members a positive experience whilst learning about new aspects of coding and electronic circuitry. We believe that we can only do this if we have a high volunteer to member ration. This means that under normal circumstances no volunteer will be looking after more than three members during each meeting. As a result, your child can be sure that they will get the help they need, when they need it.
All of our volunteers are experienced coders with a good knowledge of electronics. Many will have, or had, a career in computing and/or electronics. But all of our volunteers have a passion for developing essential skills for the future.
We are committed to following safeguarding best practice. This enables the Ormskirk Code Club to be a creative, fun and safe place for child to learn and experiment. All of our volunteers have undertaken a DBS check and undertaken safeguarding training as required by Code Club.
